Own Your Benefits: Stress, Mental Health and Grief Services

There are several supporting services for those experiencing stress, grief or struggling with their mental health. Many of these services are free and are provided by both UNI benefit vendors and different agencies in the Cedar Valley. Human Resource Services will host an informational session on managing worry and anxiety. Worry and anxiety is something that everyone experiences in their life. Managing them is important in maintaining mental and physical health. This session will be led by Guidance Resources, and take place on May 25 at 10 a.m., via Webcast. Please register in advance.

Retirement Readiness: Retirement Strategies for Women

Human Resource Services will host a session providing retirement strategies for women. Women face unique challenges when it comes to preparing financially to retire. Learn ways to save and invest to prepare for retirement. Strategies will be provided for women at all ages of saving. Pam Corrick, Financial Advisor with AIG, will lead this one hour session on May 17 at 10 a.m. Join in person in Gilchrist 009 or via Zoom. Please register in advance.

Financial Wellness: Preparing for Financial Emergencies

My Well-being: Confidential Biometric Screening

Human Resource Services will host a confidential biometric screening on April 22 from 7 to 9 a.m. in Gilchrist Hall, Room 009. Retirement Readiness: Bridging the Gap - Healthcare in Retirement Before 65

Human Resource Services will host an informational session on bridging the gap from your employer health plan to Medicare. Learn how to use the Marketplace or healthcare.gov to price Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant plans, and options such as COBRA, short term health plans, sharing programs and group plans. This session will be led by Todd Cooper with Veridian Insurance and will take place on April 21 at 3 p.m., via Zoom.

Retirement Readiness: Retire from UNI
