Financial Wellness: Inside Money - Managing Income and Debt

Human Resource Services will host two informational sessions on managing income and debt. Learn the impacts of saving and ways to manage your debt. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The hour long sessions will be held: December 3 at 3 p.m. via a live webinar and December 4 at noon in person in the State College Room MAU. Please register in advance.

Retirement Readiness: Retiring from UNI

Are you thinking about retiring in the next 5-10 years or less? Human Resource Services will host two informational sessions on retiring from UNI. Join us to help you plan ahead and learn the requirements and benefits available at retirement from UNI. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The hour long sessions will be presented by Chelsi Armstrong, Retirement Planning Coordinator, Human Resource Services: November 29 and 30 at noon in the State College Room MAU.

My Well-being: Preventing and Managing Type II Diabetes

Human Resource Services will host a one hour informational session on type II diabetes. Mary Steffensmeir, a Registered Dietician with Covenant, will provide information on how to reduce your risk for Type II diabetes, and ways to manage this chronic condition. This session will take place on November 28 at 3 p.m. in the State College Room MAU. Please register in advance

Retirement Readiness: SHIIP - Medicare 101

Human Resource Services will host two informational sessions presented by SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program). Learn the basics of Medicare and how to integrate healthcare into your retirement plan. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The hour long sessions will be held: November 12 at 3 p.m. and November 13 at noon in the State College Room MAU. Please register in advance.

Taking Ownership: Virtual Doctor - Doctor On Demand

Irritating sniffles, coughing, sore throats, and fevers can be time consuming when a doctor’s visit is needed. Utilizing Doctor On Demand can save you time for these common symptoms. Doctor On Demand is a virtual office visit that can be used as an alternative to waiting at urgent care or a visit to your physician’s office for common illnesses.

Financial Wellness: Estate Planning 101

Human Resource Services will host a presentation by TIAA entitled Estate Planning 101. All faculty and staff, along with their spouses and/or partners are welcome to attend to learn how estate planning can affect retirement and strategies that will allow you to maximize your benefits. My Well-being: Employee Benefits and Well-being Fair

The Annual Employee Benefits and Well-being Fair, hosted by Human Resource Services, will take place on October 17. Visit over 50 vendors from campus, the Cedar Valley, and across the state from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Maucker Union Ballroom. More in-depth vendor sessions will be held in the lower level of the Union. My Well-being: Good Health Essentials

Human Resource Services will host a one hour informational session on Good Health Essentials. Susie Roberts, from Employee and Family Resources, will present on balancing healthy food, exercise, sleep, socialization, and routine care to obtain overall well-being. The importance of routine health screenings, and taking care your emotional well-being will also be discussed. This presentation will take place on October 24 in the State College Room MAU.
