The Professional Development Committee has invited Dr Chris Larimer (Professor, Political Science) to help us expand upon our political understanding, especially as we close in on the Iowa Caucuses. Dr Larimer will discuss what he views as seven keys to understanding politics in 2020, including the Iowa Caucuses and the 2020 presidential election. The reduced operations period offers an opportunity for the University to maximize energy savings during a routinely lower level of campus activity and has saved thousands of dollars in energy costs since the program began. This year's reduced operations period is Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. This period includes three university holidays (Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1), four weekend days and five work days (Dec. 23, 26, 27, 30 and 31).
