5 Tips to Stay Financially Well During the Holidays

Create a budget - Set a spending limit. It is easy to overspend during the holiday season and having a budget in place will help you stay on track.

Be mindful of credit card spending - Use the budget and spending limits you set to stay on track when making purchases. Try to pay off any credit balances the following month.

Pay in cash - Using cash has an immediate effect on your finances. Purchasing items with cash may make you rethink your decision and help you to not overspend.

Look for coupons, discount codes and sales - Price checking helps you save more during the holiday season. Before you make a purchase check to see if there are additional discounts available through coupons, discount codes or sales ads.

My Well-being

New MyWW Program

WW (formally Weight Watchers) has implemented a new points tracking program, myWW™. On myWW™, there are three different plans for members: Green, Blue and Purple (see chart below).

Here’s how it works:

  • New members will take an assessment that matches them with the plan that best aligns with their lifestyle.
  • Current members are experts on the WW program, so they have the option to stay on their current plan or switch to a new one. WW Coaches are trained in all three and can help members who have any questions.
  • Our science-backed SmartPoints® system will remain at the core of all three plans, but each plan has a different balance of SmartPoints® Budget and ZeroPoint™ foods list. This customized approach is sure to give your members confidence that they’re on the wellness path that’s right for them.
  • If a member decides that they prefer a different plan, they have the option to switch at any time.
