My Well-being

Get your flu vaccine annually!

Fall semester is already here and the flu season is just around the corner. The CDC recommends receiving your flu shot as the single best way to prevent getting the flu. Still many choose not to receive a flu vaccine. Why? One reason is the many myths about the flu vaccine that still exist. The flu shot has been proven safe and effective for over 50 years. For additional information on the effectiveness and safety of the flu vaccine visit the CDC’s website.

Employee Well-being provides employees with one free flu vaccination each year. On-campus Clinics begin September 26. No advanced registration is required. Plan ahead and help keep the UNI campus community healthy!
