Is Your Financial Advisor Certified?

We can't be experts at everything. Even financial professionals use other financial advisors to provide outside unbiased advice. Using a financial planner can be a smart choice to get started on financial planning, or make sure you're on track for future financial goals like buying a house, saving for college, or retirement. Yet, all financial advice is not created equal. You can be sure the advisor you are working with is a credible and certified financial advisor. Visit Investor.gov to learn more.

Don't Forget to Schedule Your Free Preventive Care Exam!

The school bell's ringing. Have you scheduled your preventative care exam yet? Parents are being reminded to schedule wellness check-ups and physicals for their school aged children. Yet, how many times as adults do we forget to do these things for ourselves? It is important to keep up and maintain these regular visits for ourselves just as much as for our family members. Both UNI self-insured health plans cover the cost of one annual wellness exam per calendar year at 100%. The pandemic was a great reminder for our health to not put off for tomorrow what we can get done today. If you haven't had your wellness exams yet in 2021, take a few minutes to schedule them now. While you're at it, check-out all of the free preventive care available to you as a UNI employee. You and your loved ones will be glad you did!
