About the Extra Tab

Description

The Extra tab allows the PAF Preparer to add private and shared notes, view previously created PAFs for the employee, and at the bottom of the tab the PAF Preparer can add/edit attachments.

Special Notes

  1. Shared Notes and Attachments will officially become part of the approved PAF and the employee's personnel file.
  2. The list of employee's previously created PAFs will include most PAF types. However, CHG PAFs pertaining to leaves, involuntary demotions, and disciplinary actions are excluded. In addition, all TRM PAFs are excluded. Employees who have access to the excluded PAF types, will need to use the PAF Advanced Search using their Personnel Action Form (PAF)(MW04) transaction to view.
  3. The PAF Preparer can only upload files with the following extensions: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .pdf, .csv, .txt
  4. When uploading files make sure the files do not contain any confidential information (i.e., home addresses, date of birth, social security number, etc.). If you have questions about an attachment, please contact hrs-employment@uni.edu.
