Last Day Worked Field

Description

For CHG PAFs, the Last Day Worked field is a required date and should be completed for all employees going on any type of leave--excluding Professional Development Academic Year or Professional Development Semester.

For TRM PAFs, typically* the Last Day Worked field is the same as the PAF Effective Date unless there is a leave or absence involved, or if a Faculty position. Contact hrs-employment@uni.edu if you have any questions.

*Exception: For Merit Temporary employees, the Effective Date of the PAF should be the current date (i.e., the day the PAF was created). If there is a future-dated PAF for this Merit Temporary employee, please contact merit-employment@uni.edu for guidance. Research the employee's actual last day worked and add this date to the Last Day Worked field.

Special Notes

  • Vacation and/or sick leave may not be used to extend the Termination Effective Date.
  • If Faculty, ideally the Effective Date is 01-Jun-XXXX or 31-Dec-XXX. The Last Day Worked should be three (3) business days after the end of each semester.
