Description
The PAF Preparer should select the appropriate summer or other session option that correctly reflect the appointment being paid.
For many of the summer sessions, the Effective Date entered by the PAF Preparer will be validated against the session's first day. If it is not a match, the PAF Preparer will be prompted to cancel/delete the PAF and start the PAF over with the correct Effective Date.

Summer Session Options
- May (4 wks). Paid in May.
Payroll Element: Summer Appt MA4* - May-June (6 wks). Paid in May & June.
Payroll Element: Summer Appt MJ6 - June (4wks). Paid in June.
Payroll Element: Summer Appt JN4* - June-July (6 wks). Paid in June & July.
Payroll Element: Summer Appt JJ6* - June-July (8 wks). Paid in June & July.

Special Notes
- The e-Business Suite does not allow PAF Preparers to use the above sessions more than once for an employee during a single payroll month. If this occurs, while processing the SMO PAF, HRIS will select a different session in the Duplicate Session Used for Same Payroll Month field on the Extra tab.
