New Hire Orientation

Supervisors

Supervisor Development Series: FMLA and ADA Supervisor Responsibilities

Provides supervisors with high-level information about how to identify a potential leave or accommodation request from an employee and their role in complying with the Family & Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Human Resource Services recommends supervisors complete this training upon hire and annually thereafter; however, this training session is available on-demand and may be taken as needed through Blackboard.

Supervisor Virtual Workshop: Performance Appraisal Training

It can be challenging to know how to write an effective Performance Appraisal to address concerns about employee performance or to highlight how your staff member has gone above and beyond expectations. To help with this process, I'm hosting a session for Performance Appraisal Training. During this workshop we will view what the submission form looks like, how to effectively document employee performance, and review the suggested timeline for upcoming P&S appraisals. Can't attend at the scheduled time? Still register and a link to the recorded session will be shared with you.
