Supervisors

Supervisor Development Series: FMLA and ADA Supervisor Responsibilities

Provides supervisors with high-level information about how to identify a potential leave or accommodation request from an employee and their role in complying with the Family & Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Human Resource Services recommends supervisors complete this training upon hire and annually thereafter; however, this training session is available on-demand and may be taken as needed through Blackboard.

Search Committee Training

This training will provide an overview of the search process as well as the Jobs@UNI system. Search committee chairs and committee members are required to have attended this training withintwo years of serving on a search committee. All participants will attend the first hour followed by an additional 30 minutes specific to the role of search chairs. Training is generally provided twice per month, with one session held via Zoom and one session held in-person.
