Remote Work
While many positions require serving current and prospective students, faculty, patrons, etc. in a traditional in-person format, there may be positions conducive to some level of remote work. These resources are intended to help employees and managers determine remote work eligibility and provide guidance and best practices for successful remote work arrangements. Check back regularly for updates to this page.
In addition to remote work arrangements or for positions where remote work is not a suitable option, managers are encouraged to consider other flexible work options. Examples include alternatives to the traditional 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. workday, such as modified start and stop times or a compressed workweek. Flexible work options may help managers promote productivity among their team and improve employee job satisfaction and retention. Flexible work options may not be suitable for all positions as adequate coverage during university office hours must be maintained.
