Arrive at UNI: New Hire Orientation
New Hire Orientation is scheduled monthly to assist and welcome Merit and P&S staff to UNI. New Hire Orientation provides the opportunity for staff to learn about the university's history, mission, policies and procedures, as well as employee benefits. Attending orientation is important for acclimating a new employee to UNI. To help new hires settle into their work environment, a manager checklist and an employee checklist are available below. Personal invitations are sent to new employees communicating orientation time and location.
