Walk-In Wellness Lab Screening

UNI Employee Well-being is now offering Walk-In Wellness Lab Screenings, in addition to the on-campus screenings, through the Occupational Medicine & Wellness Disease Management Program. This is an additional benefit offered to provide employees a convenient, confidential, and low-cost method to assess their health at any time throughout the year.

Cost is $15 for basic chemistry wellness and $25 for Complete chemistry wellness (10 hour fast required).

  1. 1Q: What is a Walk-In Wellness Lab Screening and why should I participate?

    A Walk-In Wellness Lab Screening is an opportunity to assess your health through blood profile screenings. Lab screens available include Healthy Heart Wellness, Hematology Wellness, Complete Chemistry Wellness, PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen), and Thyroid Wellness.

  2. 2Q: Who is eligible to participate?

    UNI Employees, Spouses, and Dependents. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  3. 3Q: Who will see my results?

    Results will be provided by the Nurse Health Coach within 2 weeks of screening. The Nurse Health Coach will contact you to discuss the results and further treatment recommendations. A copy of your results will be mailed to you and also to your primary care provider with your written release.

  4. 4Q: Will participation in the screening affect my health insurance premiums?

    No. Disease Management and Nurse Health Coaching through Wheaton Wellness Services will not share individual results with UNI.
