Legal services can be expensive and time consuming. This page provides free tools and discounted legal services to UNI employees from our benefit vendors.
Principal Discounts and Services
Eligibility
All non-temporary employees who are enrolled in life or long term disability insurance, and/or voluntary term life group coverage provided by Principal Life Insurance Company. Dependents and beneficiaries are also eligible to utilize the below discounts and services.
Will & Legal Document Center
You and your dependents and beneficiaries have free access to resources and tools provided by ARAG®1 to create a Will, Living Will, Healthcare Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney and Medical Treatment Authorization for Minors. Legal Services Discount through your Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Eligibility
All benefit eligible employees and their families, and/or members of their household. All EAP services are available to each eligible employee and member of the household, including children. In-person appointments should be available within one-week of your call.
EAP Discounts
Employees are eligible for one free 30 minute consultation with an attorney per year. After the initial consultation, employees will receive 25% off additional legal services.
