Financial Wellness: Halfway There
Human Resource Services will host three informational sessions on a mid-career financial check-up. Join us and learn how to evaluate your current savings, formulate a plan to help reach your savings goals,
and manage competing financial priorities. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The hour long sessions will be presented by TIAA on: April 16 at 3 p.m.
in the State College Room MAU, 5:15 p.m. in 007/009 GIL, and April 17 at noon

My Well-being: Breaking the Stigma of Mental Health
Human Resource Services will host a one hour session on mental health awareness to assist in breaking the stigma that prevents individuals from seeking treatment. Learn ways to identify mental health concerns
and how to support colleagues facing this challenge. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. This session will be presented by NAMI, in collaboration with Mercy Wellness Services, and will be held on
April 24 at noon in 009 GIL. Please register in advance.

Mental Health Awareness
In 2018, the stigma for mental health treatment still remains. In preparation of May being Mental Health Awareness month, we are asking you to take the pledge and help lead a culture that is stigma free. You can
find more information on what a mental health stigma is, why it is a problem, as well as take the pledge on the NAMI website.
Let’s show our support for those that are experiencing symptoms of mental health and let them know that they are not alone.

Health Insurance Made Easy
Health Insurance CAN be easy if we utilize the tools provided to us. Wellmark has several tools designed to help us make wiser decisions when it comes to our self-insured health plans.
Wellmark provides the MyWellmark platform to bring many paper documents to your desktop, smartphones and tablets. Within MyWellmark are electronic explanation of benefits (EOBs), the Wellmark CareFinder, and
the Check Drug Cost Tool. Mail Service Prescription Drugs can be utilized to save both you and the plan money. Click here to learn more.

Delta Dental Enhanced Benefits
Teeth cleanings do not only benefit our oral health but our overall health as well. UNI’s dental plan provides all members two teeth cleanings per year which are 100% covered. New to our dental plan in 2018 is Enhanced Benefits, which provides additional paid teeth cleanings for those who have certain health conditions. For example, an individual with diabetes can receive two additional paid teeth cleanings
per year. Anyone covered on your dental plan can take advantage of this program. Review the Enhanced Dental Benefits handout for
