Uses for Health Care Flexible Spending Contributions

With the warmer weather and more potential to be outside, don’t forget that you can purchase sunscreen with your health care flexible spending dollars. Using sunscreen is a great example of preventive care against skin cancer. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends everyone use sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection of SPF 30 or higher. World No Tobacco Day - Choose Health, Not Tobacco

Every year, on May 31, we ask employees to take a break from tobacco and participate in World No Tobacco day. Join millions worldwide and abstain from all tobacco products on May 31. This year’s theme, “Tobacco Breaks Hearts,” is raising awareness of the link between cardiovascular disease, stroke, and untimely death, and the use of tobacco products. For additional information on this day and the negative impact tobacco has on heart health, visit the World Health Organization webpage.
